OBSERVATION OF BIRSA MUNDA MARTYR’S DAY
Aiming to spread the struggling life and sacrifice of great tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda as well as promote the diversities to encounter hate politics and intolerance atmosphere within the society, we observed Birsa Munda Martyr’s Day in two places at Bamunigaon and Kotagada of Kandhamal district.
The local tribal and dalit leaders discussed about the ideology and message of BirsaMunda and appealed the community leaders towards building of a peaceful and equitable society and pledged to work for peace and harmony.
Mr.BalabhadraMallick , president of AdivasiAdhikarAandolan, JirimiyaSunamajhi, PanchayatSamiti Member of Kotagada Block was joined as resource person. Among others Mr SaratMallick, SurendraMallick, DelangaBadamajhi, AadipaRupamajhi, NabinSunamajhi and others also spoke on the occasion.
