The 13th Dr. Asghar Ali Engineer Memorial Lecture on “Democracy versus Majoritarianism” was delivered by Prof. Prabhat Patnaik on 18th November 2019 at Polytechnic Conference Hall, University Polytechnic, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi – 110025. The lecture was chaired by Prof. Rajeev Bhargava and was organised by Centre for Study of Society and Secularism in collaboration with Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia.
The event was attended by over 100 people which included prominent activists, academicians and politicians.
